Ask us anything
You don't have to be ready to sign up. Most families reach out with a question first, which is exactly how it should work. Tell us your child's grade and school and we'll tell you what to expect.
Our contact form lives on the official Scouting site. It reaches the parents currently running the pack, and it keeps working when volunteers change over.
Good things to ask
Anything, but these come up most often, and none of them are silly:
- Is my child the right age? (We take grades K–5.)
- What does it cost, and what if that's a problem for us?
- How much time does this actually take from parents?
- We're not outdoorsy. Is that going to be a problem?
- Do we need to be religious?
- My kid is shy and doesn't know anyone. How does that usually go?
- Is there another pack closer to us?

Or just turn up
Visiting families are welcome at pack meetings, and you don't need to register or tell us you're coming. We meet at Issaquah Valley Elementary, Multipurpose Room, the second Wednesday of each month. A message ahead of time helps us look out for you.
Other ways to reach us
Our Facebook page has photos and current happenings, and messages there reach us too. If the contact form feels like too much, that works.
If you don't hear back
Please try again. Everyone here is a volunteer parent with a day job, and messages have slipped through before. It means one got missed, not that we aren't interested. We would much rather hear from you twice than lose track of a family who wanted to join.
